Your first step into successful cattle evaluation
The Namibian Brahman Breeders Society invites breeders, farmers, students, and cattle enthusiasts to attend the Brahman Orientation Course. This course provides a solid foundation in Brahman cattle, breed standards, and breeding principles as prescribed by the Society.
Whether you are new to Brahman cattle or want to strengthen your knowledge, this course offers practical and theoretical training you can apply immediately.

COURSE CONTENT
Participants will gain knowledge in:
- Brahman breed basics
- Society breeding policy
- Minimum breed standards
- Phenotypic cattle evaluation
- Identification of body parts
- Selection of suitable vs unsuitable animals
- Basic genetic evaluation
Successful completion qualifies participants to attend the Inspector & Beginner Judge (Advanced) Course 7 & 8 May 2026
